Lena Brüggen

Lena is a passionate Impact Investor who aims to reshape the future of our global food system. Prior to her role at Astanor she has been part of the founding team and Principal at the FoodTech VC Be8 Ventures since early 2020. Next to her role in VC, Lena actively engages in mentoring and supporting start ups with organizations such as The Good Food Institute. Additionally, with over five years of professional experience in consulting international corporate and private equity clients she has seen a wide spectrum of industries, contributing to her comprehensive understanding of the investment landscape. Lena’s academic journey led her through institutions in Hamburg, London, and Barcelona, culminating in degrees in Business Administration and Finance. Based in Berlin, one of Europe’s most dynamic start up hubs, she enjoys the vibrant food and art scenes.
