Founded in 2025 and based in London, Consensus Foods is building an AI decision layer for food manufacturing. Most food plants run on a patchwork of systems for planning, production, inventory and quality that were built for record-keeping, not real-time decisions. Choices about scheduling, formulation and purchasing are made in silos, which leads to lower yields, avoidable waste and idle production lines in an industry where margins are already tight.
The platform connects to a manufacturer’s existing systems without replacing them and uses optimization and machine learning to improve production decisions across the plant. It starts with yield and line scheduling, then expands into procurement, supply chain and food safety, learning from actual production outcomes as it goes.
