Eric Bregand

Eric Bregand is a seasoned product and technology leader with 35+ years of experience building and scaling software and AI-driven businesses, from early-stage startups to global organisations. Trained as a software engineer specialising in AI (Supélec), he began his career as a development engineer and project manager in Europe before joining a CEO-sponsored “Software Platform” team, where he helped disseminate software engineering best practices and contributed to the development of a global transactional platform.

He later joined Business Objects at an early stage and spent more than a decade supporting the company’s product and technology growth, ultimately leading global Product and R&D organisations of more than 500 engineers. Over the course of his career as a CPO, executive and advisor, Eric has helped teams turn prototypes into enterprise-grade products, strengthening roadmaps, product marketing and go-to-market execution, with references including XRT/Sage and eFront, which he supported through an international scaling phase culminating in its acquisition by BlackRock.

As CEO of TEMIS, an AI and semantic analysis company, Eric led a decade of growth across healthcare, security and publishing, expanded internationally with offices in the US and Europe, and delivered a successful strategic exit. He also founded smilein, a SaaS digital marketing platform for hospitality and food-service, launched in under a year and later acquired.

Today, Eric coaches high-tech founders and leadership teams on product strategy, packaging and execution, helping transform technology into scalable, commercially successful products, with a particular focus on AI-enabled innovation.
