Lewis Dutton

Lewis joined Astanor as Compliance Manager in January 2024. He oversees the firm’s regulatory, compliance and governance framework, with responsibility for AML/CFT, interaction with the regulator, and the supervision of Astanor’s delegates across Luxembourg, France, Belgium and the United States. He additionally holds Board Member and Responsable du Contrôle (MLRO) mandates for Astanor’s General Partner entities, providing governance oversight for the group’s impact investment vehicles.

Prior to Astanor, Lewis spent over 15 years across the Luxembourg investment fund industry with PwC, Aviva Investors and Brown Brothers Harriman, developing a strong understanding of the operational and regulatory aspects relating to alternative investment funds and their managers. He is a British-Luxembourgish dual national, who works across English, German, French and Luxembourgish.

Part of the mission objective of Lewis’s relocation to Brussels with his young family was to live a more sustainable lifestyle. Naturally in his eyes, aligning this vision with an impact-driven professional role at Astanor offers the best of both worlds.
